John Carey

As an infant, John Carey was found along the rivers edge floating in a handmade basket filled with blueberry muffins, cornbread and a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie cookie.  The man who discovered this poor soul ate the oatmeal creme cookie and launched the basket full of bread and baby back out into the raging rapids where the basket miraculously came to rest on a tree branch just above a massive water fall.  He was spotted by a georgeous young female camper who took him home and raised him in a warm, caring and loving environment.  When he reached puberty she cut him off from all contact with the outside world and turned him into her private slave. He recently managed to escape and looks forward to building a life of his own. John claims that with enough therapy, he will eventually be able to overcome being raised in a warm, caring and loving environment.

Joe Falank

Joe joined The Puzzled Players in the fall of 2004, bringing much desired "young blood" to a comedy group whose members were mostly "40-somethings." Graduating with a diploma in Theatre through the Rod Serling School of Fine Arts, Joe has had experience on stage in numerous school productions. However, it is improv that he loves to do most and finds performing with The Puzzled Players to be a dream come true... even when he's stepping on mousetraps, blindfolded and barefoot!

Tom Maloney

"Tom grew up with crossed eyes and learned at a young age it was better to have people laugh with you than at you so he developed a keen sense of humor. He started acting (at a professional level) in the early 90's and studied acting in NYC with HB Studios and improv at Chicago City Limits. After seeing the Puzzled Players perform, he got the acting bug again and after seeking medical attention, asked to join. He loves performing with the Puzzled Players!"

"I'd like to thank the past and current members of the Puzzled Players for their steadfast support of the troupe. They have worked hard at weekly workshops and countless shows. Our group's success and recognition has allowed me to create a successful career as an entertainer including roles in national commercials and industrials. Although I'm on leave from the cast, I'm happy to continue my support as the webmaster. Break a bunch of legs!"
